“The Princess Room,” as named by the client, serves as a basement guest bedroom and personal retreat space in a residential home. The client asked for a Spring floral mural with forest creatures and a magical/angelic feeling, and gave me a lot of free reign with what I came up with. I created this scene that includes Maine-blooming flowers and ethereal animal friends, keeping the painting style of much of the landscape soft and impressionistic to accentuate the sweet dreaminess of the room.
